Liza Smith – Business of Salons provides a tailor made coaching and mentoring programme to help fellow salon owners grow and become more successful through the pandemic. Liza Smith is well known in the hair and beauty industry with a 35+ year career that includes working with many celebrities including Victoria Beckham, Rita Ora, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. Liza has won multiple Professional Beauty Awards and has worked on loads of ad campaigns and editorial work for magazines such as Vogue, Tatler and Harpers Bazaar.
Our Approach
Liza Smith approached B Brand Design to create an identity system and visual style that was bold and stylish, reflecting 60s 'Mod' style and culture. We produced a comprehensive brand style guide that was hugely important in order to ensure brand consistency across online and offline applications. This included the logo, brand icon, graphic assets, colour palette, key messages, tone of voice, imagery & merchandise. The colour palette was inspired by a peacock colour scheme, utilising bold teal green and rich purple to blend and combine with the 'Mod' style.
